Best Season to Kitesurf in Sicily

Kitesurfing in Sicily is possible all year-round!
There are many different spots depending on the particular wind direction.
Wind blows all year-round. The most common wind direction is west and south-west which is also aided by thermal wind.
The best period for wind in all European spots is during summer time.
Temperatures range from 15 – 25 degrees C (69 – 77 degrees F). When Kitesurfing in winter time, no gloves, cap, or neoprene shoes are required, only a 4/3 mm wetsuit is required.
During summer time temperatures range from 30 – 42 degrees C (86 – 104 degrees F). No wetsuits are needed from July through September.
